1. A minimum of 12 credits needs to be completed. For January admits, the ME5010 course is not available in the first semester.
2. Taking 9 credits in the first semester helps in managing the comprehensive exam and research proposal seminar timelines.
3. For direct PhD (with B.Tech. degree), 24 Credits of course-work need to completed. They need to complete 18 credits to be eligible for comprehensive exam.
